Third-party embeds
An article that embeds a video or a social media post lets that third party set its own cookies, exactly as if you had visited their site directly. We cannot control or clear those on your behalf.
How to refuse or delete cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without asking us. Every major browser offers this under Settings, then Privacy. You can usually choose to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear everything already stored.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on anything you can see, and is a perfectly reasonable choice.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google’s own browser add-on for that purpose.
